Martha Stewart Discusses Recent Halloween Costume Debate

Martha Stewart has found herself in hot water after her controversial Halloween costume, which many deemed insensitive, sparked significant backlash. In an interview with TODAY’s Craig Melvin, she took a moment to reflect on the situation. “I’m aware of all those social issues… and I care desperately about all the problems facing us, but I made a mistake. I was stupid,” Stewart admitted candidly. Additionally, she extended an apology to Melvin for her earlier remarks that suggested his accidental spillage of chocolate led to her costume decision, clarifying that it was meant as a joke.
