A woman has decided to drop sexual assault allegations against Braden Peters, known as the “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular, in her civil lawsuit while a related criminal case unfolds in Massachusetts. This decision, according to her attorney, aims to avoid any conflict with the ongoing criminal prosecution linked to events from May 2025.
Peters, 20, faces serious charges including rape and drugging someone for sexual intercourse, stemming from an incident involving Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, who was 17 at the time. He has publicly denied the allegations outlined in a criminal complaint filed in September.
Originally, Mendoza accused Peters of raping her after getting her intoxicated during a Twitch livestream at his family home in Cape Cod. However, in her refiled civil complaint in Miami-Dade County, she has removed explicit claims of non-consensual sex. The amended lawsuit now states that Peters “had sex with Mendoza multiple times while she was intoxicated,” without the previous assertion that he had sex with her while she was asleep.
This change follows Mendoza’s earlier civil lawsuit, which also included allegations about Peters injecting her face with a non-FDA-approved substance during a separate incident in November 2025. The updated complaint details these allegations, asserting that Peters misrepresented his qualifications for cosmetic procedures and failed to disclose the risks involved.
Mendoza’s lawyer, Drew Moss, emphasized the importance of the criminal case in his statement regarding the dropped allegations, noting that the civil case should not interfere with the legal process. Peters’ legal team has not commented on the latest developments in the civil lawsuit.
Mendoza’s amended complaint still includes charges of battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and fraudulent misrepresentation among others. The next hearing in Peters’ criminal case is scheduled for October 22, following the cancellation of a previous arraignment date.
