Currently under investigation by Philippine authorities for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse images, Thomas Markle has firmly denied these claims, calling them “sick lies.” The allegations were first reported by a British tabloid, which stated that Markle Jr. discovered “hundreds, if not thousands” of such images at their father’s residence.
In a recent statement, Meghan expressed her distress over the situation, revealing that she had been made aware of “disturbing allegations” against her father as early as 2018. She clarified that the letter sent to the police contained serious accusations regarding his behavior and emphasized her decision to protect her children from their grandfather due to these concerns.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they had reviewed the letter, which was intended to raise security concerns for the Duchess of Sussex, yet it was not communicated to other law enforcement agencies.
