In a highly anticipated announcement, Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl 61 Halftime Show, set to take place on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This marks a significant milestone for the 25-time Grammy Award winner, who has played a pivotal role in curating artists for previous halftime performances.

The news was unveiled by the NFL and Apple Music during a Monday night football game, confirming earlier reports regarding Jay-Z’s participation. A playful social media post featured Jay-Z with a goat, accompanied by the iconic opening line from his track “Public Service Announcement (Interlude).”

As the founder of Roc Nation, which has partnered with the NFL to produce the halftime show since 2019, Jay-Z’s involvement has been highly influential. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed his excitement, stating, “I couldn’t be more excited for fans around the world to experience the artistry, creativity, and cultural impact he will bring to the Super Bowl stage.”

Reflecting on his journey, Jay-Z remarked, “From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey. Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”

Fans can expect a creatively charged performance as Jay-Z takes the stage, adding to the rich history of the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The event will be broadcasted across ESPN, ABC, Disney+, and NFL+ platforms.
