A man claiming to be LeBron James’ son was apprehended outside the NBA star’s home in Los Angeles, leading to an arrest on charges of felony stalking. The incident unfolded late Friday night, prompting police to respond to reports of a potential burglar in the affluent Brentwood neighborhood, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities.
According to sources, security staff at James’ residence alerted the police after spotting the individual on surveillance footage. Officers arrived on the scene shortly after 9:30 p.m. and located the man, who insisted he was the basketball player’s son.
The police did not release the suspect’s identity, but his actions raised concerns that led to the stalking charges. At the time of the incident, LeBron James was not present; he was away in Cleveland, participating in a game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
